INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual therapy is a process through which clients work face-to-face with a trained therapist—in a safe, caring, and confidential environment—to explore their feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

COUPLES THERAPY

Couples therapy is a means of resolving problems and conflicts that couples have not been able to handle effectively on their own. It involves both partners sitting down with a trained therapist to discuss their concerns, thoughts, and feelings. The intention is to help them gain a better understanding of themselves and their partner, to decide if they need and want to make changes, and if so, to help them to do so.

YOUNG ADULT/TEEN

The young adult period is characterized by rapid physiological, sexual, cognitive, and emotional changes. The transition from adolescent to adult becomes apparent as one completes the process of physical maturation. Many young adults also move into new adult roles and responsibilities. Dr. Francis offers weekly 50 min sessions to address the issues teens and young adults may be facing.

GROUP THERAPY

Group therapy is a great option if you are considering psychotherapy. Depending on the nature of your problem, group therapy can be an ideal choice for addressing your concerns and making positive changes in you life. Group therapy can be highly beneficial. Groups can act as a supportive network during this difficult time in your life. It can be a relief to hear others speak on similar topics so that you know you are not alone. By seeing how other people have coped with similar situations and make positive changes, you can then make effective decisions to promote a positive outcome.
